thought I'd repost this classic off their debut. And I'd just
like to say that their version of "Are You Experienced?" from

 1) There is NO guarantee that this song has only 2 guitars, as
     I have transcribed them here. It IS a 2-guitar band, but
     then, the Ramones only had 1 guitar player, and God knows
     Johnny overdubbed millions of guitars on their songs. This
     only raises an eyebrow on the outchorus "solo," where the
     rhythm guitar (as I've transcribed it) is asked to go from
     fifth position power chords to 12th position octaves (which
     is usually what the lead guitar plays, but it's playing
     other notes at the time). If you don't know what this
     means, basically, I'm asking you to jump up 7 frets within
     an eighth note. Not much fun, but, hey, what can you do
     with 2 guitars?
 2) The rhythm notation is very basic; there are obviously more
     notes being played on the album than what I've written
     here, but this WILL get you by. Listen to the album and
     get a feel for what the rhythms sound like.
 3) The words are damn near indecipherable. I love Tanya
     Donnelly, but I can't understand much more than the chorus
     (and even then, I still dn't know what it MEANS). If
     someone else can send me the words, I'll append them to
     this file and post a more complete version. Otherwise, just
     mumble in tune. It works for Michael Stipe.
 4) When I could figure them out or when they were important to
     the transcription, chord names are above the TAB.
 5) I've tried to keep this as short as possible, so guitars go
     in and out of the transcription. Assume that when only one
     guitar is listed, the other is playing chords. Listening to
     the album will clear this up immensely. Anyway, a text
     editor should be able to readjust this to your needs,
     should you want to repeat the verse and chorus (which I've
     just shorthanded the second time through). If this makes
     absolutely no sense, then my work is done.

I've tried to teach this to my band, but as far as I can tell,
the bass-line has NOTHING to do with the guitar, and our drummer
great live, if you ever get a chance.
