If you tremolo pick this and turn the tone down a bit you can get a 
similar sort of
to that on the record...or you can spend a ridiculous amount of money 
on a Korg synth. I
Kele must use some sort of tremelo effect as when they play live he 
only picks each note
the synth is the dominant part anyway.

I'm not entirely sure about the alteration from playing the E on the 
21st fret the first
to playing it on the 9th the second time through. It is most likely 
that Russel is
a pitch shifter or POG to add the higher octave. Once more though, this
 is the version
we people without stupid amounts of money to spend on pedals.
