Eternal

Faun Fables

Composição de: Brigitte Fontaine
I want to be loved for myself, forget the other ornaments,
I want to be adored for myself, without my clothes, my
hair, my flesh,

Beautiful in a simple state,
a sleeping call that just awakes eternal

With my clothes on it's easy, without my jewels and my
furs,
I like what is not easy, love me without adornments,
I want to be loved for my skin, not for some animal
 skin,
Just loved for the silk on my back, not for the silk I'm
clothed in,

Beautiful in a simple state,
a sleeping call that just awakes eternal

With my hair on it's easy, it's something I can hide
behind,
I like what is not easy, love me for the bald kind,
I want to be loved for my skull, my little parietal bone,
I want the men to go crazy for my charming occipital bone,

Beautiful in a simple state,
a sleeping call that just awakes eternal

With my flesh on it's easy, so vulgar and dishonest,
I like what is not easy, love me for my skeleton,
I want to be loved for my worst, to be loved even for my
bones,
I want the men just losing their heads, becoming
sentimental pets,

Beautiful in a simple state,
a sleeping call that just awakes eternal
