Two More

Not so strong as we thought,
drifting through this, is where i was caught. The cure came
 too little too late. This is where we lay and it was more 
than i could take. The true face shows itself and i offered
 very little help.You were right and i see that now which 
shows just how much i know.
i needed this but let it slip away for a promise of nothing
 in particular. i ended this but put the blame on something
 else, and that was my failure. Lord knows i've searched 
for metaphors, in an attempt to make sense of this. Lord 
knows i've searched for answers and time isnt taking it's 
toll.
