Lying, Through The Cracks Of Your Teeth

Don't make this harder than it has to be. You taught me 
bitterness when I gave up everything. Open up wide and 
swallow these words, you spoke. Now only time can heal 
these open wounds I feel. I think the worst part is holding
 on. A promise kept. I'll try to get over myself. 
Stumbling, soon I'll find my feet. Just save your breath, I
 couldn't care less. I hope you know when you walk away 
that everything this meant is just a memory. I won't make a
 fuss. I never made a sound. My dear we're heading straight
 for the edge. Aside from this torment you put me through, 
I hope you find someone, who's just like you. A 
straight-faced liar, so uninspired to do the right thing. 
Just say what you mean. We're heading straight for the 
edge, because the first times never the last time with you.
 So save it for someone who cares. Make this all disappear.
