The Brighter Side of Things

We've spent some time together, and I was sure I'd have to 
hide.
Afraid that you'd discover my darker side.
Cause there's a difference between what I say and I do
Sometimes I change just like the weather, I'm off in some 
bizarre direction.
I was afraid of the consequence if you knew it'd mean we 
could not stay together,
Then I'd be done.
Stop trying to win over my heart - you're already there.
I'm scared that someone may light my fuse. Do you know that
 you're my inspiration?
And I'm frightened by this new sensation.
We've only begun, but when it all gets said and done
I think I could love someone by looking on the brighter 
side of things.
I've had some dreams turn hard on me, I've been haunted by 
some bad decisions.
But I would never do something to make you feel that we 
were not meant for each other,
Please know that you're my only vision.
To be the queen of my heart reach out your hand - and I 
will be there.
Love ain't something you simply just get through.
I'm grateful for your disposition when I'm blinded by my 
superstitions.
