The Mirror's Image

Siderlight

Composição de: Fabio Soares Pinto
Look at the surface, what do you see?
A saint in the light, or a beast set free?
The hand that destroys is the hand that will save
The master of heavens, a ghost in the cave
We build up the walls just to watch them collide
With nothing but hollow reflections inside

Oh! The mirror is screaming your name!
Are you the water? Or are you the flame?
A heart made of stone? Or a soul made of gold?
The greatest of stories that's never been told!
What do you see when the mask falls away?
The king of the ruins? Or the child of the clay?

In the mud of the flood, a stranger reaches out
Silence is louder than any cruel shout
Why do we kill what we're dying to keep?
Why do we wake only when we're asleep?
I see a monster, I see a brother
We are the shadow of one another

Oh! The mirror is screaming your name!
Are you the water? Or are you the flame?
A heart made of stone? Or a soul made of gold?
The greatest of stories that's never been told!
What do you see when the mask falls away?
The king of the ruins? Or the child of the clay?

The glass is cracking
The image is fading
Only the truth remains
