The horses fly, hoofs flailing in the air
Our goal lays before us
The winds clash the skin, distance diminishes

Darkness now… overcomes…
We enter the clearing, village before us;
Here they lay asleep, dormant like bats

Proceeding in the midst of night
Lighting the torch, then we swept from the clearing
Into the cold abyss; the northern land

Sacred stars above us
