Sometimes in my life I get so discouraged
As struggles of life press me sore
Then down on my knees I call on my dear Savior
For comfort tho' billows do roar

I've no thought of turning around
For I know I'm heavenward bound
Though straight is the gate and narrow the way
My Savior walks with me today

I know there are times when I falter and stumble
From the trials, temptations and strife
But I've anchored my soul in the rock of salvation
Blessed Jesus the Savior of life
