somewhere lies my treasure
beyond the moods of daily blue
where silent dreams come true
a realm of fervent inner pleasure

i'm digging deep in psyche's depth
to reach the promised paradise
but i'm not pure, nor am i wise
so i search on with every breath

a lifetime long it takes for everyone
to find the ardent inner peace
but once the longest quest will cease

and when i'm close to reach pure wealth
for once a while i ask myself
has my search for wisdom yet begun?
