The hero desperately pleas
Falling hard onto their knees
As rushing feelings bleed

The villain towers over
Stepping on the clover
That used to have four leaves

All of the chances have part
But hope's still in their heart

The villain kicks him grinning
It doesn't feel like winning
Until it's torn apart

Looking but not seeing the hero on the ground
Listening but not hearing the villain's laugh resound
Touching but not feeling, the rupture in their lives is
Opening wider than allowed

It's ear pounding!
The hero screams in vain
Holding decrepit remains
Of something they can't regain

It's the ending!
The villain laughs out loud
It seems that you've lost everything!
Pouring blood onto the ground

How much time?
The hero counting to doom
When flowers no longer bloom
And darkened clouds gloom

There's no time
The villain leaning closer
Loveless eyes of a poser
The stars will fall down soon

Is it time?
For this moment to end?
For there's nothing to mend
In this hopeless second

Wait more time
The villain sees them suffer
And notices another
Chance to condescend

Looking but not seeing, their eyes are on the blood
Listening but not hearing the resonating- thud
Touching but not feeling, the rupture in their souls is
Opening wider than it should

It's heartbreaking!
The hero's lost it all
And after standing so tall
There's a long way to fall

It's happening!
The villain's smile is sharp
It seems that I've gained everything!
Cutting then tearing them apart!

The story's end is bleak and heartless
The hero's end is dark and pastless
The villain's end is what they wanted
But something still

It seems they still
