Standing on a hill beside a tree.
A rope hangs from it calling out to me.
Take a look around you as you start to spin.
Starting slowly round & round the limbs.
Feeling light as air over the countryside.
Looking down the river becomes the tide.
Over mountains into thinning air, escape velocity,
do I dare?
From up above it's all the same.
Specks of dust in natures way.
Heading through the atmosphere
I begin to see things clear.
Past the moon, the planets & on by the sun.
Through the Milky way & far beyond.
Worlds of wonder not to be ignored.
If we're the only ones here, I see them coming.
