Here, she nagged me so bad I nearly lost my mind
So I went fishing and I left behind the old 
Lady-o-d-o-lady-o-d-old-lady.

She begged and she and she pleaded 'cause she wanted to come
But I can need other vacation from the old
Lady-o-d-o-lady-o-d-old-lady.

Well, I can't tune 'cause this beer there smokes the gals I'll hear
And I can get rowdy when I drink my beer
And I love to go fishing but still I keep wishing that the
Lady-o-lady-o-lady was here. Oh,

I never thought that I'd be singing this,
But I'm going home because I kind of miss the old
