Chains are broken, a weight I've held for years.
Blinded by trust, strength rose from fear.
All the times I've listened to them, betrayed by all their lies.
Don't take my faith as weakness, there won't be guilt in my eyes.

Loyalty the way it was, strength and hope in God above.
Can't take this away from us.
Can't hold us back!
What was hard and what was pure, tattoos of the way things were.
Hate is what I feel no more.
