Out of bed, you're in my head.

So did my dreams I can't recall.
Force my eyes and windows shut.
But these downtown busses don't give up.
Pull the blinds, throw the alarm clock at the phone.
Another day late and dollar short.
Let all these memories wash ashore.
Forget all the frivolous things we can't afford.
I'll take you out on the town first chance we get.
We'll revel in bewilderment.
But I guess we had tomorrow planned.
Too many wasted afternoons.
