Down dropping tears follow me
To keep apart my crying soul
Blurred I see the scarlet soil
Closed Eyes ready for sleeping
Roaring ants are biting me

Down the path of life I walk
Pictures of the lost pass my way
Blood runs down my lips
To drink the soil and stain it red

Cold crawling death I feel
Upcoming from the fold of earth
To prevent me from the dark light
The abyss of fear follows me

I can't run on save ways
To protect me from maggots and worms
God's oppressive arms of death
