Breathe the air of this city every day,
I see the toxins, we're all in decay,
If we clench our fist can we find a way?
I don't know how, don't know what to say.

As the sickness runs along these streets I wonder will we ever,
find this piece of peace, I wallow in defeat,
as I breath this toxic air, struggling I do not care,
Toxic clouds away

I hold disdain for all of the things,
that I have become that I have now seen,
Wonder where do I stand now,
In a dead end town.
Burn it down, burn down everything,
I won't contribute to my own decay,
stand atop the mountain tall,
be strong like a waterfall.

Still they take pieces of me like I'm part of their machine,
I will defy all of disbelief,
watch the ashes blow away, live my life day by day,
won't be part of the machine that get's thrown away.
