Lost in the caverns
Of my own mind
I tried to seek refuge
But there's no place to hide
Never knowing what is real
Or what is reverie
I give up all hope as darkness
begins taking over me

There's nothing to be heard
Amongst the fog and shadows
Shame destroys my frail mind
And wraps me in ruin
This silence is deafening
It slowly takes it's toll
It dismantles my thoughts
And ruptures my clarity

Gnawing at my reason
I'm losing faith in myself
Reality's collapsing
I'll find comfort in its end
Too late is the dawn
I can no longer see the light
Clear mind withheld
I begin my decent into Abaddon
