Here I'm sitting on an old park bench
Just watching the autumn leaves fall on down
And I'm looking at all these people walking on by and by.

As I sit here all alone, I wink at some ladies passing on by
And I hope to get me a lady with a wink of an eye.

But if I get me a lady, I will ask here to sit by my side
And if she dose then this lady could be mine.

So here I'm sitting on an old park bench just winking at the ladies
Passing on by, and I hope to get me a lady with a wink of an eye

Yea I will then take her by her hand and we will wink at each other,
And hand in hand we'll walk in this park stepping on the autumn leaves
And giving each other a wink and hear the birdies tweet-tweet tweet

But if that old park bench wasn't there
So where will I be right now I would be
In this great big city winking at the in town
