Lies Upon the Cross
A lifeless soul,
Searching for salvation.
Touched by the hand of God.
The hand that never washes clean,
Forever tainted by blood.

A symbol of peace.
Ideologies of love turned to hate.
Crusades, inquisitions, the true test of faith.
Living life by a book.
Servants to a grand fascade.

A lifeless soul left to believe the lies of a symbol of peace, love, war, and hate.

Credibility in crucifixion.
Existance in execution.
Perserverance in persecution.
Reassurance in ressurection

A judgement deserved.
Mankind shrouded in their own ignorance.
Praying to God as the horsemen ride,
Galloping across the sky.

A spoken word.
A horrid lie believed by the masses.
Prophecies of fire,
Propagated by a pastor telling lies.
