At first I thought
My world would go to pieces
Then, I discovered that there’s a world without you
And I still have scars since you left
But they’re starting to heal
And I realized that
My world isn’t over

Didn’t think it would go like that
But it did and I’m glad
I could see life, even without you in mine
I could see there’s life, life after you

I still see you now and then
In clothes, in music and videos
But I don’t have your portrait on my nighstand anymore
Never knew that there was life without you
