She's got to go away
Sending her to a school far away

In the middle of the USA
To keep her away
From the surfin' coastline thing

Well they did not like the crowd
She was hangin' with all those surfers are no good

That's just a myth
Just because we're lying in the sun all day
And nighttime dream of riding the perfect wave
It's ok that she's gone away
The tide will bring her back one day
And we can ride like we did before
