Propitiating a constellation of moments, I’ve consumed

Ascensional ecstasy
I lift up above the rolling, mythic sands
Washing time away

Seconds with God
Seconds with she
Eyes, hot white and haemorrhaging tears
Of bleeding light. What can she see?

I feel the heat slowly closing in
I can see the spit hanging from my chin
A sycophant sipping from the spring
Obsequious, another fiend
Just show me a way
A way through the heat

Can she show me a way through the heat?

Feel the pulse beneath the drone
We exist for that motion alone

Hypnagogic
I roam a sunset dream
Eyeless in this haze, whispers of raqia reign
Five children spoke a truth, it glitters in rays of peach
We all dissolve eventually

I feel the heat swallowing me
I can see the spit gushing from my chin

Why do you resist that which may be all?
Why do you resist that which may be everything?

Fate and circumstance returns you to this moment
Where your thoughts fold in on themselves
And you pray for them to be whole again
But their wholeness is their illness

When will you understand?

I'm frightened of understanding
I'm frightened of who I'm to be

Fear is the eater of dreams
Breathe
Slow
Let the heat wash over you
Flow
Let it flow
Feel your mind sweat
