Straight edge isn't for everyone
But I want to tell you what it's important to me
There are a lot of different reasons and it changed over the years
Back when I was 16 I was really angry
about all the peer pressure to smoke, to do drugs, and alcohol
Straight edge was there to tell me I wasn't alone in thinking it was okay not to drink
There were other people out there who wanted to live poison free
Now that I'm 25
[Kelly:] Actually you're closer to 35
[Issa:] Hey, young till I die
Anyway, now that I'm older I'm still deeply disturbed
by the cigarette and alcohol companies
They lie about health and other dangers
They portray women and men badly
And they specifically target children and poor people
They are definitely not getting my money
