Tighter with every breath.
And though I probably deserve this noose there’s one thing I’d like to adduce.
Something many weeks and months overdue.
Just know I never resented you.
Not that I expect that to make anything right or rectified.
And I understand if you can’t stand the sound or sight of my name.
