I don't know how to take it when it hits this close to home. All we had, the times we shared, we always said this was thicker than blood. Those days are gone, not coming back. So what IS left? Do we write it off and walk away?

See all we've had just laid to waste? I can't tone down the life I've found because you've changed your mind, so what we keep and throw away is your call as well as mine.
