Put them down
When they should be giving the kids confidence
They can't stand to see the youth succeed

Why the kids cut them off

And leave their doubters to suffer in silence
They wallow in guilt at the memories lost
Don't give a thought, cause they will accuse and fault you
They wonder why they are left in the unknown
Or why they have been left in their misery to die alone
