Cold is the winternight
Covered in darkness
Slowly it's sealing my heart
With a layer of stone
Strange how hopelessness
Can fill us with comfort
Embracing the fate
Awaiting us all

I lie awake in dreams of death
For all I know, it is my sight
Through the haunting shadows and light

So grim, the sight of life
The beast behind their eyes
Though far I will proceed
I'll dance with them in fire
Falling...

And I can see my fears
And fantasies as one
Hell is what I know
From fields I have now gone
Giving myself to its call
