Soaring upon ethereal mists
Mighty is the clamor of their wings
Towards the sun they frown in anger
With the moon they have made an allegiance

Darkened souls lost within the dimensions
Amidst the clouds founded their mansion
Outcasts of the thither world
Drifters on the plains beyond

Servants without the master
Herd without the shepherd
Host of wraiths wandering astray
Yearning for an answer to no avail

As soon as the sun sets down
Flapping of the wings heralds (omens) their arrival
Inside one's dreams they wantonly trespass
Feeding upon the memoirs of what use to be their kind

Hiding from the sight of human kind
With the night they have become as one
Cloaked in darkness among us they reside
Winged demons that brood over the sleeping ones

Whence dawn finally arrives
They spread their mighty wings
Drunken with the bliss of stolen memories
Ascending homeward
Over the cloud-wrapped peaks
Demented union amasses
Bursting with stolen fantasies
