The ancient stone temple of war
Proud of it's mightiness obscures my soul
For ages towering the endless horizon
Full of blood of many great warriors!

Mountains wounded by time
Where proud souls lay
Weapons lost in the stones
Tired by now to hurt
Peaks of stone and blood!

Battles on a unyielding border land
That saw millions fall with glare in their eyes!
Birds of pray with greedy smile wait
Many have left the lands on their wings

All is quiet, silent stones, birds flying high
Spirits waiting the sound of horns to fight
Again, with no remorse they battle for the ground

I look fearless ,they run across stones
Ardent and proud they fight
Night comes and all is over
On the ancient Dolomites

Fall, fragments of past life fading
Leafs loose vitality and leave their safe place
Alone thru the path to destruction they spread sadness
Forget life in this cold and gray days
