Here's a terrific Sparklehorse tune for you, that I can't believe hasn't been tabbed yet. 
The song itself is recorded on a slightly overdriven/compressed acoustic guitar.
There are a few flourishes on the guitar, some lazy hammer-ons here and there. 
They aren't hard to pick up. Make it your own, it's a beautiful song.
