A feast for lions in their den

The hand of God
Did what only God's almighty hand can do
When it seemed impossible
That's when the Father moved
At the end of their rope
Barely hanging on to hope
With nowhere left to go

And then the Lord came through again

Jairus must've been in tears to know
His little daughter's life would end
And then
Ten lepers cried: Unclean, unclean
Believing that they never would be cleansed
And then
Bartimaeus sat along the roadside helpless
From the years in darkness spent

Disciples weeping at the garden tomb
Believed their hope had reached a bitter end
