I read the papers almost everyday
I want to know what's happening now
I don't understand a word they say
What's most important seems to get left out

Freedom fighter or terrorist
Depends on who's the journalist's boss
Don't try to tell me who's a communist
Just tell me what it's gonna cost

I'm so confused there ain't no education
I'm so confused we could use some explanation
