More Than A Feeling

Boston

Cifra: Versão 8 (violão e guitarra)
tom: G
Tabbed by: Radar/Spay (with some help on the solo with one of my friends)
Email: *

Tuning: Standard

Verse-
Played on a 12 string guitar, but acoustic or clean will do

e|--------4-3-------------------------------------------|
B|----3-------3------3-----3----3-----------------------|
G|------2----------0-----0------------------------------|
D|--0---------------------------------------------------| x5
A|---------------3-----2--------------------------------|
E|----------------------------3-------------------------|

Then do this one

e|--------4-3-----------0---------------3----------------------------|
B|----3-------3-----3-----3---3-----3-----3---3----------------------|
G|------2---------0---0-----0-----0---0-----0------------------------|
D|--0----------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------3---------------2------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------|

Now here's where things get interesting. There's a distorted guitar
that does this: Note: The bends are half step bends

e|----------------------------------------------------|
B|--12b--12--12b--10--12b--10h12p10-------------------|
G|----------------------------------------------------|
D|----------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------|

Now underneathe the riff above, the acoustic/clean
guitar is playing this until the chorus

e|----------------------------2-----------------------|
B|------3--------0--------3-----3---3-----------------|
G|----------------------2---2-----2-------------------|
D|----2---2----2---2--0-------------------------------|
A|--0-------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------3----------------------------------------|

Chorus-Okay, the thing about the chorus is that it's a fairly simple
chord pattern, but everyone seems to have a different style of playing
it. So I'll only give you the basic riff to it, and I'll let
you add/take away so you best match your playing style

e|-------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------|
G|-------5-5---9-9-9-9--7-7------------------|
D|--5-5--5-5---9-9-9-9--7-7------------------| x5
A|--5-5--3-3---7-7-7-7--5-5------------------|
E|--3-3--------------------------------------|

Now the ending for the 6th time slightly differs

e|--------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------|
G|-------5-5---8------------------------|
D|--5-5--5-5---8------------------------|
A|--5-5--3-3---6------------------------|
E|--3-3---------------------------------|

We couldn't really figure out the ending of the chorus
so it's not there. We know it starts with two G chords and two C chords and that's it

Pre verse

e|----------------------------------------------------|
B|----3-----3------------3-----3---3------------------|
G|------2-----2---2----0-----0------------------------| x2
D|--0-----0-----0-------------------------------------|
A|-------------------3-----2--------------------------|
E|-------------------------------3--------------------|

Verse-

e|--------4-3-------------------------------------------|
B|----3-------3------3-----3----3-----------------------|
G|------2----------0-----0------------------------------|
D|--0---------------------------------------------------| x5
A|---------------3-----2--------------------------------|
E|----------------------------3-------------------------|

Then do this one

e|--------4-3-----------0---------------3----------------------------|
B|----3-------3-----3-----3---3-----3-----3---3----------------------|
G|------2---------0---0-----0-----0---0-----0------------------------|
D|--0----------------------------------------------------------------|
A|--------------3---------------2------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------|

Pre-Chorus

e|----------------------------------------------------|
B|--12b--12--12b--10--12b--10h12p10-------------------|
G|----------------------------------12----------------|
D|----------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------|

Pre-chorus for acoustic/clean

e|----------------------------2-----------------------|
B|------3--------0--------3-----3---3-----------------|
G|----------------------2---2-----2-------------------|
D|----2---2----2---2--0-------------------------------|
A|--0-------------------------------------------------|
E|-----------3----------------------------------------|

Chorus-

e|-------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------|
G|-------5-5---9-9-9-9--7-7------------------|
D|--5-5--5-5---9-9-9-9--7-7------------------| x5
A|--5-5--3-3---7-7-7-7--5-5------------------|
E|--3-3--------------------------------------|

Play for the 6th time

e|--------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------|
G|-------5-5---8------------------------|
D|--5-5--5-5---8------------------------|
A|--5-5--3-3---6------------------------|
E|--3-3---------------------------------|

Okay, now the solo. Even though you probably still don't
have a slightest clue what to play after the chorus...O.o

There's a harmony to this one, and I'll put up the main lead and
I'll put a box around places where harmonies accompanies then
type out the harmonies seperatly.

e|-------------------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------7--7-8-7h8p7-----8b-----8-7-5h7p7---5-7-7------------------|
G|--6-7-9--------------9-7------7-----------7-------7----------------|
D|-------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------------------------------------|

e|---|--------------------------|----------------------------------|
B|---|--8-7h8p7-----------------|-7---7-8-7h8p7--------------------|
G|---|----------9-7-9b-7-6----9-|---------------9-7----------------|
D|---|----------------------7---|----------------------------------|
A|---|--------------------------|----------------------------------|
E|---|--------------------------|----------------------------------|
          Box 1 ^
e|--|---------------------|---------------------------------|
B|--|--10b---10-8-7h8p7---|-7-----8-7-5h7p5---5-------------|
G|--|-------------------9-|-----7-----------7---------------|
D|--|---------------------|---------------------------------|
A|--|---------------------|---------------------------------|
E|--|---------------------|---------------------------------|
       Box 2 ^

e|-------------------|--------------17b--|----3--2-----2---------|
B|----7-5h7p5--------|--14h15p14---------|----0--3--3--3---------|
G|--7---------7-6-7--|-----------16------|----0--2--0--2---------|
D|-------------------|-------------------|----0--0--2--0---------|
A|-------------------|-------------------|----2-----2------------|
E|-------------------|-------------------|----3------------------|
                          Box 3 ^

Harmony to box 1

e|---------------------------------------------|
B|--12-10h12p10--------------------------------|
G|--------------12-11-12b-11-9------12---------|
D|------------------------------11-------------|
A|---------------------------------------------|
E|---------------------------------------------|

Harmony to box 2

e|-------------------------------------|
B|--14b---14-12-10h12p10---------------|
G|-----------------------12------------|
D|-------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------|
E|-------------------------------------|

Harmony to Box 3

e|--------------13b-------------|
B|--10h12p10--------------------|
G|-----------12-----------------|
D|------------------------------|
A|------------------------------|
E|------------------------------|

Anyways, the solo is a blast to play when you get the hang of it.
And just to be clear, The two guitars are always playing,
one of them just seperates at times to do the harmonies

Pre verse

e|----------------------------------------------------|
B|----3-----3------------3-----3---3------------------|
G|------2-----2---2----0-----0------------------------| x2
D|--0-----0-----0-------------------------------------|
A|-------------------3-----2--------------------------|
E|-------------------------------3--------------------|

Verse-

e|--------4-3-------------------------------------------|
B|----3-------3------3-----3----3-----------------------|
G|------2----------0-----0------------------------------|
D|--0---------------------------------------------------| x5
A|---------------3-----2--------------------------------|
E|----------------------------3-------------------------|

Then it does this before the final chorus. It's with
distortion. And I didn't have the patience to tab
out the lead for this part. So there's some homework for you

e|--2-2--------------------|
B|--3-3--------------------|
G|--2-2--------------------|
D|--0-0--------------------| x4
A|-------0-2-3-2-3---------|
E|-------------------------|

Now the lead before the chorus becomes weird

e|----------------------------------------------------|
B|--12b--12--12b--10-10h12p10-12b--10h12p10-----------|
G|------------------------------------------12--------|
D|----------------------------------------------------|
A|----------------------------------------------------|
E|----------------------------------------------------|

This still plays under the riff above

e|--------4-3-----------0-------|---------3-------|---------------------|
B|----3-------3-----3-----3---3-|-----3-----3---3-|---------------------|
G|------2---------0---0-----0---|---0---0-----0---|---------------------|
D|--0---------------------------|-----------------|---------------------|
A|--------------3---------------|-2---------------|---------------------|
E|------------------------------|-----------------|---------------------|
                                  Play this twice^

Chorus-

e|-------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------|
G|-------5-5---9-9-9-9--7-7------------------|
D|--5-5--5-5---9-9-9-9--7-7------------------|
A|--5-5--3-3---7-7-7-7--5-5------------------|
E|--3-3--------------------------------------|

Now you let the chorus go on for as long as you want it too
after you play it 6 times. Play it twice more, or play it
10 more times, doesn't matter.

Anyways, I realize that some of the little leads in the song are
missing, they don't really matter though. Anyways, have fun.
